Job description, authorities and responsibilities

Development of C/C++ applications in computer vision, measurement and high-tech automation:

• Communication with customer
• Analysis of customer requirements
• Design and development of algorithms
• Setting parameters of algorithms
• Setup of the measurement system from sensors to the final adjustment of the algorithm parameters at the customer’s site
• Analysis of measurement/production data
• Installation assistance either via remote connection or directly at the customer's site
• Direct contact of the developer with the measurement system from its design through the final commissioning and warranty service

 

Development of new modules for existing image recognition applications and measurement systems based on cameras with 2D and 3D sensors:

• Design and development of user interface and application logic including algorithms
• Communication between applications and the control system
• Modification of the database schema

 

Maintenance of C/C++ applications:

• Analysis of errors encountered in the production environment
• Design and implementation of hot-fix to ensure customer’s production
• Design, implementation, testing and deployment of system measure
• Suggestions for enhancements, optimization of existing code or deployment of new technologies

 

The employee in the above position is responsible for the development, maintenance and improvements of defined products and participates in development projects that are technologically close to their own. Job description, authorities and responsibilities

We are looking for a new colleague in the software development team, whose responsibility will be cooperation in the development of new products and maintenance of existing measurement systems based mainly on computer vision. Our product portfolio covers the entire spectrum of measuring instruments that are used in the production of tires and in the automotive industry, from the preparation of the rubber profile to its finalization, mounting on the rim and assembly on the car. These products use various force sensors, cameras, 2D and 3D sensors to measure and inspect the properties of intermediates, tires and wheels, while the individual partial results are evaluated using artificial intelligence algorithms and computer vision.
We implement the development of new products through agile project management approaches, while the entire development team participates in the formation of project goals and requirements, design and implementation of individual solutions, as well as the resulting quality through code review and automated tests. The maintenance of existing systems mainly includes the analysis and correction of errors reported by customers, as well as the modification of existing functionality according to the specific requirements of the customer.
The specificity of working in our development team is that software developers are not reluctant from the real environment for which the software is being developed. On the contrary, software development is implemented hand in hand with hardware development and programming of microprocessor units. Every developer knows what product they are working on and sees their contribution to the final product.

Technical knowledge:

• Advanced knowledge of C ++ 14/17, knowledge of C ++ 20 an advantage
• Gitlab experience, Gitlab experience an advantage
• Experience with OpenCv, Qt and Boost libraries an advantage
• Experience with OPC UA and REST communication an advantage
